1. The competition is open from Monday the 22nd June 2015 and will close at 5pm on the 31st August 2015 (the “Closing Deadline”). No entries will be accepted after the Closing Deadline.
2. The prize is a gift hamper supplied and delivered by Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts(CHHWP) to the value of $500.
3. The draw will take place at CHHWP Head Office; Captain Springs Road, Onehunga, Auckland 1061 on the 3rd of September 2015. The winner will be determined by a prize draw in which the winning entry will be randomly selected and will be contacted via email or by phone on the 3rd of September. If, the winner has not been contacted by 5.00pm on the third day following the draw and CHHWP has made no less than 5 attempts to contact the winner over that time, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. In the event a winner is deemed to have forfeited the Prize in accordance with this clause, CHHWP will draw a new winner.
4. The competition is open to New Zealand residents only. Overseas entries will not be considered.
5. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian before entering the competition. If the winner is under age of 18, the Prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
6. Entrants must provide their name, phone number, email, company and address when entering the competition as well as the photo of the Shadowclad Pine Seedling.
7. By submitting a photo for this competition you are giving CHHWP the right to use this image as part of “the Tree Project” promotional activity for the duration of the project and your name and company details.
8. The Prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
11. There will be no cash alternatives for any part of the Prize stated in these terms and conditions.
12. Arrangements for delivery of the Prize will be made between CHHWP and the winner at CHHWP’s expense.
13. Subject to clause 5, only the person who entered the competition will be awarded the Prize. The winner cannot transfer the Prize or nominate another recipient in respect of the Prize. In the event that the winner notifies Carter Holt Harvey that it does not wish to receive the Prize, Carter Holt Harvey will draw a new winner.
14. CHHWP does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries.
15. Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the Prize.
16. No responsibility is accepted by CHHWP for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
17. This competition is not open to employees or immediate family members of CHHWP or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition or their direct family members.
18. CHHWP’s decision is final in every situation and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. CHHWP reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control. If circumstances allow, a winner will be drawn from those entries received for a draw as at the date of cancellation. If the Prize cannot be awarded, an alternative Prize will be awarded of substantially the same value.
20. By entering this competition you will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them.
21. These rules are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
22. To the extent permitted by law, CHHWP, its employees and agents shall not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or the Prize.
23. CHHWP is not responsible or liable for any problems or technical malfunction of computer on-line systems, servers or providers, traffic congestion of the internet or at the website or any combination of technical problems which may result in delay in accepting and registering entries into the promotion.
